MIPRS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Muhammad Medical College Hospital for clinical practice opportunities for its students. Muhammad Medical College Hospital is a 500-bed tertiary hospital located adjacent to the MIPRS building. Besides this, two other hospitals working in Mirpurkhas city attached are with Muhammad Medical Hospital.
In 2020, LUMHS allowed MIPRS to admit 50 students under DPT program. Consequently, the first batch of Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) students, batch-2021, was admitted to MIPRS in November 2020. As of July 2023, MIPRS, under LUMHS affiliation, has admitted three (03) batches of DPT students.
In July 2023, Following the promulgation of the Ibn-e-Sina University, Mirpurkhas Act, 2021, the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad, was requested to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC), inter-alia, for the DPT program-batch of 2024 under ISU. The Higher Education Commission has graciously granted the requested NOC to offer DPT Under Ibn –e- Sina University.
