Ibn-e-Sina University aims to produce competent, ethical, and research-driven healthcare professionals in line with the standards of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). The training programmes follow a structured, competency-based curriculum aligned with CPSP guidelines, incorporating clinical rotations, academic sessions, skill-based workshops, and simulation-based learning. Trainees participate in case discussions, journal clubs, and continuous assessments through workplace-based tools like Mini-CEX and DOPS, along with annual evaluations. Research is a mandatory component of training, supported by faculty supervision and financial assistance for selected proposals and conference presentations. Ethical practice, patient safety, and professionalism are core values, with all trainees expected to maintain respectful conduct, confidentiality, and responsible clinical behavior. Ibn-e-Sina University provides wellness support, mentorship, and study or medical leave entitlements to promote trainee well-being. Systems for feedback, grievance redressal, and quality assurance are in place through the PGME Committee and periodic programme reviews. With its integrated academic, clinical, and research environment, ISU strives to develop future leaders in medicine who contribute meaningfully to healthcare and medical education.
